Terms of Service

By creating an account or using MUNDash (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

The Service is operated by MUNDash (“we,” “us,” or “our”).

MUNDash is a cloud-based platform for Model United Nations (MUN) delegation management. It provides tools for delegate tracking, skills evaluation, conference management, and performance reporting. The Service is intended for educational use by MUN delegations, faculty advisors, and their members.

By creating an account, you represent that you meet the minimum age required to enter into a binding contract in your jurisdiction (typically 18), or that you have obtained the necessary parental or institutional authorization where required.

The account owner (the subscriber) is solely responsible for all activity that occurs under their account, including the actions of any delegates or members they invite. Account credentials must be kept confidential and may not be shared outside the authorized members of the delegation.

Paid subscriptions are processed through Lemon Squeezy and governed in part by their terms of service. By subscribing, you also agree to Lemon Squeezy’s applicable policies.

• Auto-renewal: Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly or annual) unless cancelled beforehand.
• Annual plans: Billed upfront for the full year at the time of purchase.
• Price changes: We may provide advance notice of price changes through email or within the Service. Continued use after a price change takes effect constitutes acceptance.
• Free trial: Any trial conditions will be disclosed during signup. Charges, if any, will occur according to those disclosed terms.

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account billing settings. Upon cancellation, you retain access to the Service until the end of your current billing period. No partial refunds are issued for unused time within a billing period, except:

• Where required by applicable law (e.g., consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction).
• At our sole discretion in exceptional circumstances.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any applicable law.
• Impersonate any person or entity, or falsely represent your affiliation.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service or its infrastructure.
• Use automated tools (bots, scrapers, crawlers) to extract data from the Service without our written permission.
• Resell, sublicense, or otherwise transfer access to the Service to third parties.
• Upload or transmit malicious code, viruses, or harmful content.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules without prior notice.

We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times. While we maintain reasonable backups and security measures, users remain responsible for keeping copies of important information.

You retain ownership of all data you upload or create through the Service, including delegation information, evaluation records, and conference data (“User Content”).

By using the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide license to store, display, and process your User Content solely to provide the Service to you. We do not sell your User Content or use it to train AI models.

You are responsible for ensuring that your User Content does not violate any third-party rights or applicable laws.

The MUNDash brand, logo, platform design, and source code are the exclusive property of MUNDash. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use our trademarks, trade names, or branding without prior written consent.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, loss of profits, or service interruptions.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from use of the Service shall not exceed the total fees you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

You may terminate your account at any time by deleting it from your account settings.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service when reasonably necessary to protect the Service, our users, or comply with legal obligations. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Portugal, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms will first be subject to good-faith negotiation between the parties. If unresolved within 30 days, disputes shall be submitted to the competent courts of Portugal.

We may update these Terms from time to time. For material changes, we may provide advance notice through email or within the Service. Continued use of the Service after any update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
